With great amount of electrical equipments, distribution network are large-scale complicated system,whose operating status always have close relationship with geographic information.It leads to a high level management pressure of maintaining the system at regular range.At the same time, for that distribution network themselves being the bridge connecting power supply enterprises and customers,whose operating status would make directly influence on power supply enterprises’social impress and economic benefits.The GIS(Geographic Information System) platform can make the data which reflecting the operating status together at the highest level.So it is easy to share distribution network equipment information,geographic information,electricity, business information and SCADA system information on Internet.It will greatly enhance the efficiency of the power system management and make power system in stability,security,economic manner.Because power system GIS maintains a dedicated spatial data model and forms organized the data.This leads to make obstacles to form the information one.In this paper,designed power system distribution network WebGIS uses the Oracle Spatial in Oracle Database11g to form spatial data.And on this basis,develop theoretical lineloss analysis on10kV distribution power system,which assisted with the work of management.Compared with the traditional WebGIS,this design is more lightweight and flexible, which meets the current requirements of the electricity distribution network WebGIS.
