Wind power is playing a more and more important role in modern power system as a kind of clean energy. Large-scale wind farms building increases the share of wind power in the power system. What problems the power systerm should sovle are how to make rational use of wind power, how to avoid unnecessary trouble and how to improve the benefits of the producers and operators truly.Having a natural characteristics of fast regulating, it is be solved as a form of compensation to wind power usually. Through reasonable mathematical models, developing coordinated operation strategies have big probability to improve the economic benefit of participants in the coordinated operation.This thesis adopts two-stages stochastic programming thoery, considerates randomness of wind and electrovalency, and classify both as random variables. In the favors of Scenario tree and expected value model theory, coordinatied scheduling stochastic programming models and methods of wind power and hydropower have been studied in this thesis. Finally, this thesis takes a region of hydropower stations and wind farm as an example to realize both independent and coordinated operation models in the mature software platform, i.e.., GAMS.Through the comparison of the results obtained, it find that coordinated operation models are better than independent models in security of power grid, improving wind power trasmission capacity utilization rate, improving the overall economic benefit of the commonwealth.Taking coordinated operation strategies can avoid the waste of wind power, and brings positive significance for wind power utilization.
