Today, the characteristics of power electronic devices are energy saving, high quality reasonable use, power electronics device is under unprecedented development. It greatly promoted the induction heating power, power factor compensation and harmonic management technology rapid development. All-controlling power electronics device provide the solid foundation for research of solid super audio and high-frequency induction heating power, the induction heating device have taken place in the changing. However, power electronic technology bring convenience to people’s life at the same time, it led to new problems. Lots of harmonic current and reactive current to inject grid, grid and equipment receive serious threat. The harmonic detection and suppression technique has been paid more attention. Therefore harmonic and reactive current filtering and compensation is the important power electronic technology research.This paper firstly describes the development of domestic and foreign induction heating power, compared to the voltage type and current type inverter, introduces the induction heating power load matching method, electrostatic coupling method and electromagnetic coupling method, forecast the future development trend of inductive heating power: Secondly, describes the power factor, the concept of reactive power compensation, introduces the PFC and APFC technology; Finally, describes the present situation of domestic and foreign harmonic problem, introduces the development process of LC filtering device and the active power filter, introduced some harmonic current detection method of Fourier transform, instantaneous reactive power theory, adaptive control theory, based on simulated filter theory, wavelet transform theory, and forecast the development direction of harmonic control technology in the future.
