With the rapid development of economy and auto industry, people’s living standards become better and better, the pace of life is getting faster and faster, because of the rapid increasing of cars, the relationship between supply and demand of parking spaces are becoming imbalance, it will lead to difficulties of parking in the city, and this problem will eventually affect the city’s traffic conditions. In the present,the best option to solve the parking difficulty problem is to build three-dimensional garage, now many cities have built a certain number of three-dimensional garage, but the research of three-dimensional garage is still at the beginning, mostly about mechanical operation, rarely focus on structure forms of three-dimensional garage. Because the different function between three-dimensional garage structure and general civel structure, the requirements are different in many aspects.so it is necessary to study three-dimensional garage structure to provide theoretical basis for writing three-dimensional garage code.In this paper,on the basis of earlier study at home and abroad,the plan layout and vertical layout were studied,and then the interlayer truss lateral resisting parking structure was put forward. And the mechanical properties of the interlayer truss structure was studied in the next, mainly include the following content:The layout form of three-dimensional garage was studied and the suitable plan layout for large-scale and small or medium-sized three-dimensional garage were proposed, corresponding to each plane arrangement forms the vertical layout were put forward.The characteristic of three-dimensional parking structure was deeply analyzed,then the interlayer truss structure was proposed in this foundation, moreover,the advantages of interlayer trusss parking tructure was analyzed.The influence of energy dissipation beam length, beam section variation, connection type of diagonal web member and the depth-span ratio upon structure lateral stiffness were analyzed,then the lateral characteristics was analyzed, the influence of energy dissipation beam length variation upon its shear and moment force was studied in the next.in the last the calculation formula of interlayer truss lateral resisting steel skeleton under horizontal loads was deduced with approximate methods. The geometrical composition of energy dissipation truss was studied, and then three collapse modes under horizontal load were proposed. Moreover,horizontal limit bearing capacity of interlayer truss structure was analyzed, and the calculation formula of limit bearing capacity under horizontal loads was deduced.Finally, the influence of length of energy dissipation beam upon the hysteretic performance was analyzed, the influence of length of energy dissipation beam upon energy dissipation performance,stiffness and ductile of energy dissipation truss was found out.
