In general, the distributed generation (DG) is a renewable energy. It makes tre-mendous economic contribution to alleviate the current power shortage and improvethe energy structure aspects, Thus it has been the extensive attention of researchers inthe world. Distribution network reconfiguration is an important means to optimize thedistribution system operation and reduce network losses. With the further developmentof China’s smart grid, the future distribution network can be flexible and reliable accessto the DG. The emergence of the DG will have a significant impact on the originalstructure and the operation mode of the distribution network. As a traditional powersupply supplement, it will play an increasingly important role in the power system.This paper first describes the application status and development prospects of thedomestic and foreign DG, discussed several common Distribution Network Reconfigu-ration, and then focuses on several common DG and the influence of DG in powersystem, selected the wind turbine as a typical DG, established the distribution networkreconstruction scene model with the wind generator. The model considering the ran-domness of the wind generator power output characteristics, adopted scene analysis tosystem scene division, made the model can accommodate more wind generator andaccess system. Combined with the genetic algorithm in solving complex nonlinear op-timization problem is the global optimal and high efficiency, etc, put forward a kind ofimproved genetic algorithm of distribution network with the wind generator power.The algorithm through specific encoding rules, produce the initial population, crossov-er operation and optimal operation, make the process of evolution only feasible solu-tion to meet the actual distribution network. The new algorithm is based on the scene ofthe wind turbine voltage physical optimization to reduce the dependence of the proge-ny of the initial population and greatly reduced the optimization time, the reconstruc-tion results are obtained by considering the power of all the scenes, reflects the randomwind power contribute to the adaptability. Finally, we have a simulation on ModifiedIEEE69node distribution system, it proved the feasibility of the new algorithm, get agood effects, can guide the practical distribution network planning work.
