Mining roads project is an important one of mine construction projects, ang the design is a part of mining planning. At present, most mining roads reflect the design index on the low side and poor road conditions.In order to realize the automation and visualization of the mining roads design, this paper focused on the following two studies:Based on the value model and genetic algorithm, in-depth study of the mining route intelligent selection technology; combined with DIMINE software system, research the technology of data processing and modeling.The results and conclusions of the research as follows:(1) Refer to the road design specifications of factories and mines, categorise the mining roads to external roads, internal roads and opencast mine road; Sum up the basic requirements of the mining road selection should pay attention to.(2) On the basis of analysis road the alignment composition and structure, suggest an early alignment consists of line segment and circular arcs, calculate the route parameters by the plane geometry and vector theory.(3) Based on the theory of whole life cycle cost, built the road value model, determine the decision variables of the road route, Sum up the genetic operators of the three-dimensional alignment optimization.(4) Using DIMINE software system to process the data of the aligement area and built spacial information database. The essence of the alignment optimization is searching the best route between the specified points, while DIMINE has tremendous ability to editing graphics and managing attribute f, which could confer different graphic elements endowed with a different attribute fields, and provide data support for the model.(5) According to the actual project example, analysis the road design module should have some functions for the output of the design results.
