With the accelerating process of the urbanization, the situation of urban traffic is becoming more and more severe. The urban rail transit is an urban transport facility highlighted developed by countries all over the world to alleviate the pressure on urban traffic. The urban rail vehicle is the carrier of urban rails transit, most of the vehicles apply distributed power technology, each vehicle is equipped with a large number of electrical equipment, such as traction motor, driver control equipment, high-speed circuit breakers and a huge number of relay, contactors, automatic switches etc. The reliable operation of these vehicle-equipped electrical equipments affects the safe and efficient operation of urban rail transit directly.In this thesis, the research product of the national863project "Train Security Status Monitoring and Fault Warning Technology" is used. Based on the practical project during the time of graduate student, we start the research of the issue-urban rails vehicle electrical equipment maintenance system. The development of the maintenance system realizes the vehicle electrical equipment maintenance process’s automation, information, systematization.The thesis details the hardware and software design and implementation of urban rail vehicle electrical equipment maintenance system. The entire maintenance system consists of the upper management information subsystem and the underlying maintenance subsystem. The system uses a layered design of distributed control. Each subsystem can complete the operation independently, according to the suggestion from expert system. The thesis details network architecture and management of the system, the main circuit and control circuit of the underlying subsystems. Some key issues about system design is emphasized analyzed, such as network and information security, system anti-jamming design and signal sampling circuit improvement (filter amplifier circuit). The software of this system was developed by Visual Studio2005,based on industrial Ethernet protocols and com technology, combined with the Access database, National Instruments Controls and Excel spreadsheet processing software, the software was designed to be a convenient and flexible management, query and report printing system. As leading person, the author involved in the actual development of Wuhan urban rail vehicle electrical equipment maintenance system from start to the end. Month in August2011, the system was put into field operation, the maintenance system operates conveniently in the field, it’s controlled automatically by computer, the electromagnetic compatibility performance is all right, during runtime, all instruments equipment and network communication is working correctly, the automatic acquisition, computing and determine of test data, the testing results are accurate.
