For long time, blast vibration signal analysis is the key and a difficult problem for blast vibration damage control.Since1920s, researchers have made investigation and exploration into propagation theory of blast seismic wave, monitoring of blast vibration, signal analysis, vibration damage criterion and disaster control. However, due to instantaneity of blast seismic wave, complexity of transmission medium and uncertainty of object, blast vibration analysis is still in its infancy. The new signal analysis method-HHT is taken to analyse blast vibration signal as follows:(1) On the basis of introducing HHT basic theory, algorithm and superiority, HHT problems are studied and improved, such as the ending effect and illusive component;(2) Blast delay time interval effect is studied optimum delay time is ascertained by superposition method of blast vibration signal;(3) Defects of traditional millisecond blast real delay time identification methods (wavelet transform time-energy density analysis method, wavelet transform modulus maxima method and EMD method) are pointed out, and HHT instantaneous energy identification method which is self adaptive and efficient is put forward;(4) HHT is applied to blast vibration signal analysis of Xincheng gold mine in Shandong, whose blast particle vibration velocity and frequency variation laws are obtained;(5) According to the shortages of wavelet energy method and wavelet packet energy method, HHT equivalent energy criterion is first proposed to study the blast energy distribution law of Xincheng gold mine;Using the new theory and method, the blast vibration theoretical and technical foundation are established for controlling and forecasting blast vibration damage by systematic research in the blast vibration.
