With K-type eccentrically braced frame (EBF) composite frame structure is composed of K-shaped eccentric brace and concrete frame, a new hybrid structure system, it has been seldom used in the country. In this article, installing eccentrically braced in the concrete frame has been studied and the seismic peiformance of the structure system has been discusseed in the fortification intensity and in the rare earthquake.The main research work which has been done in this article is as follows:(1) The seismic behavior of K-type eccentrically braced frame、 K-type concentrically braced frame and pure frame structure in the elastic stage has been analyzed by the response spectrum analysis method. The sesult showes that:K-type eccentrically braced can effectively improve the lateral stiffness of the concrete frame structure, which between the pure frame structure with the concentrically braced frame.(2) According to Change the parameters such as the length of the link beam、the span with the brace、the cross-sectional area of steel brace of the K-type eccentrically braced frame, and the seismic performance of three different structural systems has been analyzed. The sesult showes that:The length of the link beam and the cross-sectional area of steel brace greatly impact on the seismic performance and the span with brace is opposite.(3) The seismic behavior of K-type eccentrically braced frame、 K-type concentrically braced frame and pure frame structure in the elastoplastic stage has been analyzed by the nonlinear time history analysis method. The sesult showes that:the eccentrically braced frame with a K-shaped which has been compared to the other two structures system posses better energy dissipation capability and ductility because of the large plastic deformation of the link beam.The seismic force of the frame column mostly has been converted to the axial pressure of the steel brace, and its seismic performance has been assessed at the stage "may continue to use"(4) According to Change the parameters such as the length of the link beam、the span with the brace、the cross-sectional area of steel brace of the K-type eccentrically braced composite frame, the seismic performance of three different structural systems has been analyzed in the strong earthquake. The sesult showes that:The length of the link beam、 the span with brace and the cross-sectional area of steel brace greatly impact on the seismic performance.
