With the increased economic growth, Motor vehicle population is increasing rapidly in China. The vehicle fuel heater which used for cab heating, glass defrosting, cold Condition engine star, Emission Reduction and Reducing Engine Wear has also been widely applied. At present, the domestic heater in cold regions of the widespread availability of vehicles, passenger cars, buses and tanks and other military vehicles. The evaporative type fuel oil heater has the structure compact, the volume small, the oil consumption few, the thermal efficiency higher merit. Conducts the performance researching, analyzes its work operating law, carries on the corresponding structure optimization to it, has the vital significance. This article carries on the Numerical Simulation and the performance of Experimental Study in view of the domestically produced YJH-Q10kW evaporative type fuel heater, grasping its working rule, proposing the improvement program, has yielded the remarkable result.First, using software STAR-CD carries on the Numerical Simulation to the YJH-Q10kW evaporative type fuel heater’s combustion chamber internal flowing and the burning situation. Analysis the Chamber internal flow field distribution, oil and gas mixing and combustion processes. The air admission reasonable organization has the important influence to the fuel oil and the air mixing. This article has analyzed the influence combustion chamber interior flow field factor, Proposed increases the swirling flow, the promotion oil gas mix several kind of different structure plans. And through Numerical Simulation study several kinds of different combustion chamber structures to air current organization and combustion influence. For the reasonable organization air current movement, enhances the heater performance and so on to provide the basis.Then, has conducted the YJH-Q10kW evaporative type fuel heater gantry performance experimental study. Because the electromagnetism fuel pump feed frequency, installs factors and angle to the heater fuel feed, the thermal power and so on has the important influence, carried on under the cold machine condition to the fuel pump has installed the angle experiment differently, then has carried on the different feed frequency experiment to the different angle. Find out the fuel pump mounting angle and frequency of heater fuel delivery of the laws affecting. Has carried on the fuel pump different imposition angle and the frequency experiment under the heater start condition, explores the thermal power, thermal efficiency, and performance of the affected.Next, experimental researches were carried on under the different feed frequency to the YJH-Q10kW evaporative type fuel heater the air-fuel ratio. Because the air-fuel ratio is very big to the heater performance influence, by adjusting the heater intake system intake, studying the air-fuel ratio to thermal power, thermal efficiency and other performance rules. Simultaneously also carried on the heater to enter the air cavity pressure test. Through comparison of different speeds before and after pressure on the combustion-supporting fan, Analyzed combustion fan to heater performance influence. In addition, the water flow on the heat transfer efficiency of the heater, exhaust temperature, and so has a significant impact, this article through external circulation pump for the heater to provide the different flow of water, has studied the different discharge of water to the heater performance influence.
