| As one of the most commonly used structural form for highway bridges, concrete box girder, especially the prestressed curved box girder, is much complex and perplexed than straight girder in loading, displacement, deformation, and so forth caused by temperature loads. Therefore, it needs more research. Lacking real data, Bridge Design Specifications in China was developed based on different Manuals from other countries, especially the Bridge Design Manual in USA---LRFD, lacking large amount of real data. More researches need to be conducted to provide more data to improve the temperature distribution and effect database in China. In this thesis, one remote temperature data monitoring and collecting system was established in bridges, powered by solar cell, which is more advanced than others. Plus, parameters during the calculation of temperature distribution and effect are discussed and put forward. Three dimensional modeling software Google SketchUp is adopted to compute the height of shade on the web plate caused by wing slab; and this method is reasonable and much more innovative.Some regulations are proposed based on the basic data collected by the remote system, after serious calculation and analysis. Finite element modeling is conducted to research and predict the behavior of box girder bridge under temperature dynamic effect. In this paper, the method of SketchUp has been confirmed that it is available and applicable. The strain of concrete has been influenced by the temperature flucation model, which demonstrates the sin curve. And thus the flucation of strain also shows like the sin curve. During the cold wave without the sun shine, the temperature causes little effect on the bridge. But during the normal winter and autumn day, the temperature results in considerable displacement and stress. |
