China is a vast country of960square kilometers of territory the size of mountains around, with the exception of the few located in the plains region, the remaining number of mountainous and hilly areas, and in recent years as China’s rapid economic growth, state investment was large infrastructure and energy project construction, with the launching of such projects, all engineering sectors are more problems facing slope disaster prevention. In most construction projects, because the terrain conditions, construction investment and the duration and other factors, on the edge of the skin in the control of geological disasters, generally are not asked to do the construction and operation of absolute security, there are few similar large release slope of the slope along the way to dispose of the project to eliminate all risks of slope, and are usually only required to control the slope of geological disasters in order to meet the basic safety requirements.To ensure the safety of the slope and its environment, taking the slope retaining, strengthening and protective measures is particularly important in a variety of slope protection in the way the application of flexible protection technology can be more secure, reliable, better Protection slope, protection of the environment and existing natural conditions, has a broad development and application prospects.In this paper, considering the rock slope and the actual stress form, analysis of rock slope in potential landslide body or landslide stress characteristic, finally rising to the theory research, establish reasonable mechanical model. Based on the stress analysis of rock slope, known in and outside the camp, under the action of force, slope there are two basic failure modes:(1) the slope along the shallow surface of the overall decline destruction, i.e. slope shallow rock and soil mass to a certain thickness, the underlying rock layer sliding failure;(21ocal wedge sliding failure, namely) slope potential unstable rock and soil, and the main force, along a surface damage.This article will through the project example, analyses the design theory and method, mechanical characteristics, structural characteristics, main points of construction, put forward to have constructive opinion, the future of the flexible protection technique in rock slope engineering application has a great practical significance.
