Slope problem in China is one of the hot topics in the field of geotechnical engineering.Slope engineering is complex system engineering, involved in mining, road and bridgeconstruction, water conservancy, and other fields of engineering. Its stability is directly related tothe safety of engineering. With the continuous development of national economic construction,the more large-scale construction project development is, people will pay more attention to theproblem.This article is presenting and analyzing two models based on Grey Theory and the BP (Backpropagation) Neural Network. In accordance with the advantages and disadvantages of these twomodels, we divided the sample data into different intervals to set up the Grey Theory basedmodel and established various predictive results. We then applied the acquired results as inputsfor the BP Neural Network, and established the final, predicted results. This article also presentsthe calculation of Forecasting and Monitoring Method of Slope Stability based on the applicationof two models (Grey Theory and BP Neutral Network).The results predicted an increase in theoverall prediction accuracy of Forecasting and Monitoring Method of Slope Stability. Based onthe Grey-BP Neural Network Combination Forecasting Model, we have provided visualizationsfor users with the help of MATLAB. Such graphic visualization is suitable for users working infuture applications.
