With the development of soft-switching technology, many new methods were proposedto improve the performance of the soft-switching circuit converter, which makes its topologyincreasingly diverse and complex. It has been found that some latent current paths may appearin the soft-switching power electronic converter working due to load changes, or the changeof switching frequency and circuit interference factors. The latent current paths called thesneak circuit may cause a non-design feature, and directly affect the normal operation of thecircuit. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the sneak circuit analysis techniques ofsoft-switching power electronic converters to pre-find the sneak circuit phenomenon for theoperating reliability of power electronic systems.In this paper, a new method is proposed to find out the sneak circuit in the soft-switchingconverter based on the analysis of soft-switching power electronic converter topology andworking principle. First, the proposed method searches out all circuit modes in the circuitbased on the switch state of the soft-switching converter, and then the adjacency lists of eachcircuit mode are established except the normal circuit mode. Subsequently, all the currentpaths can be searched using the adjacency list of each circuit mode. As a result, the sneakcircuit can be obtained by removing the redundancy circuit modes based on the clues table.The proposed method can directly identify the sneak circuit of multiple current paths in thepower electronic converter, and save it in the way of circuit mode. This overcomes thedisadvantage of the resulting method, which searched the single-loop current circuit paths,and then combined them as the sneak circuit mode by artificial means. In this paper, a detailedintroduction is firstly given on the search algorithm and design of the sneak circuit analysissoftware, then a multi-core computing programming method is used to improve the searchingspeed of the sneak circuit. Finally, the software implementation is given to illustrate the highautomation, the quick and accurate searching ability of the proposed method. The Buck ZVTPWM soft-switching converter is simulated to demonstrate the correctness of the sneak circuitanalysis method and the effectiveness of sneak circuit analysis software.
