In recent years, with rapid economic development, distribution networks are increasin gly large, natural disasters, especially in the distribution network failures caused by lightni ngrisk also increases. How to reduce lightning disasters on the distribution network to ens ure the safe operation of the distribution network, reduce customer outage time, has becom e the primary problem of electric power enterprises.The statistics show that the lightning hazard is mainly manifested in two forms:dire ct lightning stroke over voltage and lightning over-voltage. At present, foreign countries su ch as Korea, Japan, the United States, Taiwan and other countries and regions on the two t ypes of over voltage protection and is quite mature, although China has been committed to promoting the work of the grid mine, but due to direct lightning stroke over-voltagedistrib ution network is relatively large, most of the power enterprises of lightningovervoltages i s still mainly concentrated in the direct lightning stroke over voltage,relatively little resear ch on lightning overvoltages. However, I found work in practice, due to lOkV and belo w, with low levels of grid insulation, lightning over-voltage on the harmincreasingly promi nent. Thus, to carry out the study of distribution network induced over-voltage protection, n ot only complement the existing lightning protection measures, is a prerequisite to further i mprove the distribution network supply reliability.The main subject of proceeding from reality and will direct lightning stroke voltage and lightning over-voltage on the line contrast, looking for lightning overvoltage causeslight ning induced over-voltage model, the analysis of lightning current parameters, the linethe height of the lightning strike point, the ground conductivity and other parameterson the am plitude and waveform of the overhead transmission line lightning overvoltage,and the line s urge arrester installation, the installation location with grid spacetransmission line lightnin g overvoltage protective effect, looking foreffective measures toprevent lightning overvolta ges, improve the distribution network of lightning over-voltageprotection, the limit is reach ed, reduce the lightning overvoltage purpose. Completion of the project will provide the ba sis and reference for the distribution network lightning protection work carried out.
