Because of the excellent technical and economic performance,the trend of application forcomposite foundation is increase.Pile-net composite foundation,which include level toenhance body and vertical to enhance body,shows unique superiority of strengthening softsoil foundation,and there have successful examples at home and abroad.Because it’s workingmechanism is very complex, the theory development of pile-net composite foundation isobviously behind the engineering practice, so far there lack comprehensive design theory andcalculation method. In order to further know and comprehend the working mechanism ofpile-net composite foundation, according to the current research status and existingproblems,this paper is mainly focused on several aspects as follows:1. Literature investigation. Summarize the current status of theoretical research andapplication at home and abroad about pile-net composite foundation by reading a number ofrelated data and literature,and raise questions that need study in this field.2. The basic concept and basic theory.Based on the existing research results of pile-netcomposite foundation,the definition,basic composition,basic properties and overallcoordination mechanism of pile-net composite foundation is detailedly expound.and its mainmethod of calculation of bearing capacity and settlement at present is summarized.3. Establish the finite element original model.The finite element theory concerned with thispaper is summarized, and3D computation model of pile-net composite foundation with pilecap is built through ABAQUS,consider the mbankment load、the frictional contant andvarious working condition. And we detailed analyze that the force、the deformation and theformation process of the soil arch of pile-net composite foundation in post-processing.4. Analysis the influence factors of work characters. The author numerical simulate theimpact on the deformation、the force、 soil arch height and related change rule whenexcavatedeep foundation by modifying the original model as pile spacing、pile cap size、pilelength and cushion layer thickness and so on.5. Project case. A project case of eastern expressway in Dongguan is numerical calculate byapplication above3D finite element analysis model. The calculated results quite fit themeasured results,and the feasibility of the conclusion is verify in this paper.
