The track circuit outdoor equipment with a high degree of complexity, affected by the environment seriously, especially track circuit failures are often caused by trackside changes in temperature and humidity, so the track circuit always needs to be adjusted in the railway field. The traditional track circuit voltage adjustment method with manual adjustment is focused on repair after malfunction which waste of human and material resources, and inefficient, it is impossible to adapt to the demands of the modern railway growth and need to establish a automatic voltage regulation system for track circuit. Thus, with the background of the trackside temperature and humidity effect on the25Hz electronic phase detecting track circuit voltage, the automatic voltage regulation system for track circuit was built up. Therefore, the automatic voltage regulation system for track circuit which to be able to track circuit voltage for real-time monitoring and automatic adjustment and fault diagnosis, reduce the workload of the railway field, improve work efficiency, ensure the railway traffic safety, increased reliability and availability of the track circuit to protect the normal operation of the railway.The automatic voltage regulation system for track circuit consists of two parts of the system lower machine and the system host computer. The system lower machine installed in the track transformer box of the outdoor track circuit receiving end which is mainly used for data acquisition, logic operation, the drive voltage adjustment and data transmission. The system host computer installed in the interior which provide a friendly interactive interface for railway signaling maintenance personnel, it can display the data by system collected and the track circuit voltage adjustment by system. Therefore, it will alert when the system determines that the failure of track circuit voltage.According to the demand analysis of the automatic voltage regulation system for track circuit, the automatic voltage regulation system for track circuit is divided into six modules. Logical control modules, acquisition module, driver module, slave communication module, power supply modules and data monitoring module. The system is design mainly from both hardware and software. Main logic control unit of the logical control module is based on DSP technology, which with the BP neural network algorithm for judgment, operation and track circuit voltage adjustment; the acquisition module’s main task is data collection, including the acquisition of the track circuit voltage acquisition and trackside temperature and humidity; the drive module main composition logic circuit using FPGA technology and realization of variable voltage conditions; data transmission between the system lower machine and the system host computer is realized by CAN bus in the slave communication module; the data monitoring module for track circuit voltage curve display and track circuit voltage fault alarm functions.Finally, to test the automatic voltage regulation system for track circuit, and the test results indicate that the automatic voltage regulation system for track circuit can automatically adjust the track circuit voltage based on temperature and humidity and meet the actual needs of the railway field. Summary and analysis of the automatic voltage regulation system for track circuit in the testing and operation of the issues, for the next research indicates the direction of this thesis, the idea of the safety circuit of the railway signal applied to the system interface circuit, so that the automatic voltage regulation system for track circuit applications to meet fault-application principles.
