Application Research On The Visual Illusion In Landscape Architecture Design

With the development of the landscape design, it involves a wider range of relevantknowledge and disciplines. For the strong comprehensive of landscape architecture design,currently the more plant characteristics, ecological, environmental and other aspects ofproblems were widely concerned, but beauty in form and artistry were inadequate painstakingand generalized. However whether in traditional or modern, Eastern or Western, the artistry oflandscape architecture design is precisely the expression of the first step, we should pay moreattention to it.Visual illusion takes an important role in human activities. In the long process ofhuman’s social practice, people gradually realized the interest of visual illusion and used artmethods to treat it which merged into people’s life and satisfied aesthetic requirements.Therefore, research on the application of visual illusion in landscape architecture design hasan important value and significance.This paper is mainly completed from the following sections:(1) The definition of visual illusion, basic theory of the concept, brief history, currentlysituation in landscape architecture are provided.(2) Study more deeply about the essence of visual illusion, to embody the unique valueand fascination which establish a theoretical framework of visual illusion.(3) On the basic of necessary in analysis the concepts of visual illusion and landscapearchitecture design as well as the attribution of visual illusion, determined the four viablepreconditions about the attribution of visual illusion used in landscape architecture design,analyzed basic aesthetic principle and applications of visual illusion.(4) By combined the classical design case, deeply analyzed the comprehensive application of visual illusion in landscape architecture design.(5) The conclusion part summarized the final significance of visual illusion in landscapearchitecture design which offered a new thinking mode for the designer. By usingreconstruction of landscape elements create more architectural landscape and meet the need ofpeople’s practical function and psychological aesthetic demand.
