| Along with economic development and technological progress, the retainingstructures are developing from the traditional gravity retaining wall to many lightretaining structures.They have been widely used in engineering, such as cantilevertype, supporting wall, anchor, anchor plate, reinforced earth and soil nail wall, anchorcable and so on. Currently, frame supporting structure with pre-stressed anchor is oneof the retaining wall and the light retaining structures used more commonly. In thispaper, with an engineering example, we have the numerical analysis to framesupporting structure with pre-stressed anchor against the characteristics of thenorthwest loess.Basing on the engineering practice and checking calculation works, the structureand design of frame supporting structure with pre-stressed anchor were introduced.ADINA was used for the numerical simulation of typical slope models. The axialforce of anchor, the horizontal and vertical movement of slope and the internal forcesof the structure were analyzed. The results of comparison and analysis showed thatthe frame supporting structure with pre-stressed anchor performed high efficiencieson slope supporting, and the slope stability was on an increasing tendency. Thehorizontal and vertical movement was in the allowable range of the slope deformationcontrolling.The frame supporting structure with pre-stressed anchor is a new supportprogram for slope engineering and excavation works; it is not only the further lightstructure, but also improving the structural stability of retaining structures from theoverall synergies (including the stability against sliding and overturning stability). Soit has good prospects for engineering application. |
