In recent years, with the huge demand of the transmission market, AMT, with its goodfuel economy and relatively simple structure, has become the most favorite product oftransmission companies. AMT test rig which used for on line inspection and quality control ofthe AMT automatic transmission products is the indispensable key equipment for the factory.Automatic shift control system is the fundamental symbol of the AMT automatic shift test beddifferent from the manual gear test rig. Based on the original test-bed technology, the researchon the automatic shift control system is the focus of this paperThe paper makes clear the difference between the AMT and manual transmission shiftsystem by comparative analysis. And then, on the research of the drive unit motor controltheory, I put fuzzy PID control algorithm into the automatic shift control system. Simulationresult shows that the static and dynamic performance’s superiority of fuzzy PID overconventional PID control algorithm.Finally, the paper describes the design and test processing of AMT transmission test rigautomatic shift control system. The test results that analyzing and observing chart which wegot through the experimental data obtained in the process of test-bed experiments, verify thefeasibility of the automatic shift control system.
