With the environmental pollution and oil shortage problem becoming more and more serious, countries around the world have invested heavily in research and development of new energy vehicles. With the ongoing research on the electric vehicles, storage battery power shortage became a technical bottleneck that the electric vehicles can continue to develop. The super capacitor has the advantage of high power, high current fast charge and discharge, the composite power of super capacitor and storage battery can in theory be a good solution on the instantaneous high-power problem of the electric vehicles, and can protect the battery and improve efficiency. Composite power technology attracted public concern by the academic and engineering has become a hot topic.This article conforms to the current research focus, the status of the domestic and foreign electric vehicles and its composite power are firstly analysed. And then with the composite power of the electric vehicles as the research object, based on national urban road conditions and the basic principle of composite power being introduced, the overall structural design and the part of circuits of the composite power are designed, and a bi-directional DC/DC converter topology is emphatically analysed.Then, the principls and electrical properties of the main power supply iron phosphate lithium battery and vice power super capacitor are analysed in this article, and the SOC value estimation methods on the lithium iron phosphate battery have been emphatically studied.Based on the above design and analysis, the composite power control strategy is analysed, and pointed out that the power distribution control strategy based on fuzzy logic control can better complete control as well as the fuzzy controller of the composite power power allocation is designed in fuzzy control box of the Matlab.Advisor software is a special automotive simulation software. In order to verify the correctness and validity of the composite power, the composite power and battery power separately adopted by electric vehicles are carried out the simulation analysis via the Advisor software finally in this article, and the corresponding simulation results are analyzed.
