Myriads of unsafe factors and dangerous sources in railway tunnel construction, which are complex and influence each other, lead to safety accidents frequently and cause significant economic losses and negative social impact. In the railway tunnel construction, we should monitor and analyze the poor geologic bodies effectively, figure out the key hazard factors, and establish the synthetical geological prediction system, so as to improve the accuracy of poor geologic body prediction and reduce safety accidents in construction period. To ensure the safety of tunnel construction and future operation, it is of vital importance to master geologic information of the tunnel precisely in time. By means of analyzing the successful geological prediction cases in Shanghai-Kunming guest line, we preliminaries construct the optimizing schemes of typical poor geologic bodies prediction, based on which we can conduct the secondary development with Google Earth and establish tunnel geological prediction system, thus realizing digital management and visual management of tunnel information.The thesis primarily consists of two sections, the first of which is tunnel geological prediction technology research. By analyzing the typical successful engineering project at home and abroad, we propose optimizing schemes of typical poor geologic body prediction, which can improve the prediction accuracy and reduce the prediction costs. On that basis, the second section combines software engineering technology and database technology with geological engineering, carry on the secondary development on the platform of Google Earth, conduct the system integration on the platform of C sharp, and construct tunnel model with Google Sketch UP, finally establishing tunnel geological prediction information management system and realizing the aim of visualization and digitization of the forecast information.The system contains5functional modules:map management module, forecasting database management module, forecasting information management module, tunnel3D simulation module and assistant decision module. The thesis further discussed the key techniques applied in the system, including coordinate conversion and the development and application of GE COMAPI.Finally, the thesis forecasts the future research in this field. The system focuses on the utilization, and provides a fast, immediate, and interactive operating platform for geological forecast workers, constructors and managers. If the system can build more expert database with more successful forecast cases, and achieve the accuracy of weather forecast, it will be endowed with more practical value and more broad application prospects in the tunnel advanced prediction.
