The Primary Scheme Design For The Selection Of Marine Electrical Propulsion System

With the development of power electronics, the marine electrical propulsion system are widely used. There are varied kinds of the electrical equipments and control strategy. So, to meet the different performance, the selection design of system is essential. But the selection design is a huge job, as the marine electrical propulsion system is complicated. The designer should be well known about the equipments parameters, and compare them to find the best scheme. As a result, it is inefficient. However the computer is quit good at this cumbersome work. It can shorten the time spending on design, and optimize the scheme automatically to improve the quality.I learned the selection design of the marine electrical propulsion equipments, and made a scheme to develop a kind of software which can create an aided selections design platform of interacting system, perform aided optimization of the electrical propulsion system and finally assess the result of the design. To finish the scheme design, first I need to understand the research object clearly. And then, I should define the main function of the software, and find out the proper techniques to develop it. Besides, I also need to make a detailed plan of the whole developing process of the software.Based on lots of analyses and conclusions, I did researches on the following aspects.1. the design and selection of the electrical propulsion systemI analyzed the characteristic of the equipments, such as prime movers, electric motors, inverters and propulsion devices.
