Now, as a basic building, frame structures are widely used on Academic building and Commercial building, and because of the using requirtment, the bottom of the building usually is large space. However, by now, the relative research on the structures has been not enough, especially under earthquake. What’s more, the present codes and technical specifications haven’t specific provisions. So, in this paper, the seismic responses of the frame structures are further studied on the basis of the achievements gained by former scholars.The seismic responses of frame structures are almost elastic under frequent earthquake. Firstly, general theories on elastic dynamical analysis are introduced. Then, taking the example of a frame structure with large space bottom, by using the ways of Cycle Reduction, Finite element of Equivalent Rigidity, the responses of cycle, Interlayer Shear, Interlayer Displacement, Interlayer Displacement angle are discussed, and Internal forces are further discussed too.The seismic responses of structures are elastic-plasticity under rare earthquake, which are different from the elastic seismic responses of structures. Firstly, in this paper, general theories on elastic-plasticity dynamical analysis are introduced, including The Equivalent single degree of freedom system, Target displacement and Loading modes. Then, the development and present situation of nonlinear static analysis are introduced, and its theory foundation is introduced. Finally, taking the example of a frame structure with large space bottom, by using the ways of Cycle Reduction, Finite element of Equivalent Rigidity, the responses of cycle, Interlayer Shear, Interlayer Displacement, Interlayer Displacement angle and Internal forces are further discussed.At last, by analysising the conclusion above, the ways to erase or reduce the damagemets of the frame structure with large space bottom is further disscued. And the Defect of this paper is pointed out, in order later scholars to disscuse.
