Eccentrically braced frames under the action of energy consumption in favor of beam section, first, because it happened shear yield with good ductility, has good deformation ability and energy dissipation capacity, through the nonlinear shear deformation to consume the earthquake energy, greatly improving the framework of ductility. Buckling-restrained brace overcome disadvantages of traditional eccentrically braced frames which can yield in both tension and compression without buckling to dissipate the energy imparted to the structure.This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the eccentrically braced frames. The author has thought that change the common braces to the buckling-restrained brace, the buckling-restrained brace and energy beam section can dissipate the vibration energy of structure together, as a "double fuse" role. In order to prove the energy dissipation capacity of eccentrically braced frames structure and buckling-restrained eccentrically brace frame structure this paper constructed, compare the eccentrically braced frames structure and buckling-restrained eccentrically brace structure with two examples through analysis, layer displacement and the internal force of buckling-restrained eccentrically brace frames are all reduced, reflects the buckling-restrained eccentrically brace having the better earthquake resistant behavior.
