As the country’s rapid economic development, the advent of economic globalization, regionaldevelopment and regional spatial structure extension mode gradually become a hot issue inregional economics, urban planning and many other disciplines. The spatial expansion of urbanconstruction land in the study area, driving mechanism, the regional land use planning, policyformulation is of great significance.The main road between the city of Zhengzhou, Kaifeng City to determine the scope of thestudy, the three years2004,2008and2010TM images of study area and related economic data,the main data source, use of relevant technology, analysis of the study area dynamic changes ofland use, urban construction land expansion mode, and a simple analysis of the driving factors ofurban construction land expansion changes, and the following conclusions:(1) Through the study area TM remote sensing image processing, obtained the three periodsof study area land use type maps, the area of farmland and construction land-based constructionsites continues to increase, its main source of cultivated land and unused land, arable land area isgradually reducing. Most of the reduction of arable land converted to land for construction. Thelargest increase was mainly due to the results of the district’s rapid economic development. Waterslargely unchanged. Unused land and woodland area is too small, showing a decreasing trend.(2) Composite analysis of land use of the dynamic changes of land use degree. Show that: theextent of the study area land use on the rise, and land use structure of the study area, a singledegree of high land-use intensive high proportion of construction land in the region in the studyperiod gradually improved.(3) In the2004-2010years of urban construction land, the study area showing a significantexpansion of new urban construction land mainly in Chung Dong New Area, New District,Kaifeng two points as the center outward showing the spread of the layered structure; the studyarea within Cheng Avenue is the main lines of communication within the study period2004-2010,the strip of land for construction along the Cheng Avenue Extension has emerged; the study areafrom the Chung Dong New Area, Kaifeng New Area distant towns and villages showing alow-density continuous spread mode.(4) The development of urban construction land change in the period of the study area showing the spatial development along the transport axis to the trend of development is in linewith the "point-Axis" Spatial system, due to the comprehensive strength of three-point gap,Zhengzhou is most powerful. Kaifeng followed, Zhongmu is weakest, coupled with the impact onpublic policy, Zhengdong New urban construction land along the axis of expansion, the BianxiNew Area, also showed a certain degree of expansion, Zhongmu expansion a lesser extent, youcan expectations, and ultimately this area will form a dense industrial zone.(5) The study area of urban construction land expansion is the result of multiple factors,driven mainly from economic development, natural and geographical environment, traffic building,and policy and planning to control four aspects of the analysis, the above factors to determine thestudy area of urban construction land expansion mode.
