| Since PET was applied in the packaging market, it has been widely used in thebeverage packaging. Statistic shows that the percentage of PET bottle in beveragepackaging has risen at70%. Therefore, the researchers at home or abroad adoptvarious methods to study the PET beverage packaging, to get the new PET beveragebottle which combined with the higher performance, lighter, more beautifulappearance.This paper has two parts. The first part is about the optimal design of the newdesign bottle, and the second part is the lighten design of PET bottle which is in massproduction.In the second chapter, this paper introduces the PET packaging material and themain point of PET bottle design, expounds the ISBM process in the manufacturingprocesses, and analyzes the influence of various parameters on the PET bottle.The third chapter is about the optimal design of the new PET bottle. According tothe PET beverage bottle to meet the performance of production, transportation, andfulfillment, this paper sets up the physical model. Meanwhile, analyzes theperformance of the new bottle with the finite element method, adjust the structure ofthe bottle according to the result of finite element analysis.The forth chapter is about the lighten design of the bottle which has been in massproduction. Based on the model which found in the third chapter and the PET sheetmechanical property and thickness from the20sample bottle tests under the stretchexperiment, we can get the20groups sample data include the stress and strain throughthe finite element analysis. And then, found two mathematical relations, one isbetween stress to the thickness, and another is between strains to the thickness. Basedon the two relationships, we can calculate the optimization thickness among thepracticable scope and realize the lighten design of PET bottle.In conclusion, this paper focus on the need of modern packaging market on thePET bottle, with the purpose of PET bottle lighten design, the research not only enrichthe practical design of PET bottle, but also reduce the every cost of PET bottle. In thisway, it can greatly reduce the cost of enterprise, improve the design efficiency, marketcompetitive power, has tremendous economic and social value. |
