Earth pressure is the first step of the design of foundation pit, influencing the retaining each link of structure design. But at the same time, influenced by deformation of retaining structure, the soil physical and mechanical properties, underground water condition and so on, the earth pressure is constantly changing. This paper, from the influence of earth pressure due to deformation of retaining structure, through comparing the classical earth pressure theory, earth pressure analytic solutions and numerical simulation results, which considering the deformation of retaining structure, mainly discuss the following areas:1、Based on the classical earth pressure theory, combined with the retaining structure with three struts, this paper analyzes the influence of earth pressure due to deformation in the excavation process.2、On the Beijing subway line of high MiDian station’s foundation pit engineering as the background, with the use of Midas/GTS numerical simulation software, through the analysis the distribution law of deformation and earth pressure on various excavation stage retaining structure, this paper attains the law of influence of earth pressure due to deformation and earth pressure variables; meanwhile, in combination with the plastic zone and the shear stress distribution, expounds the mechanism of influence of earth pressure due to deformation of retaining structure.3、By comparing the Rankine’s earth pressure, soil pressure analysis method considering the deformation of retaining structure and numerical simulation results, this paper attains that the result of earth pressure due to deformation is between active Rankine’s earth pressure and static earth pressure from distribution to size, and reflects the earth pressure in the state of unextremity.4、Using soil pressure analysis method considering deformation and numerical simulation method to get the resistive overturning stability coefficient, from resistive overturning, this paper attains that the earth pressure analytical solution and the numerical simulation solution can be more reasonable, safe for checking the foundation pit resistive overturning stability service.5、Through the measured data research of the foundation pit, from a practical perspective, this paper analysis deformation of retaining structure, and compared with the deformation result calculated by numerical simulation, shows its rationality, and verifies the regularity of earth pressure distribution in excavation process.
