| Urban road intersections mixed traffic has become the bottleneck of the transport, in order to alleviate the pressure of the urban road network traffic flow, the constraints of limited time and space resources and low-carbon energy-saving traffic conditions implement multi-way traffic to operate and control strategies is imperative.To choose isolated intersection bus priority signal control strategy, established index system, including average delay, average number of stops, queue length, fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. Using the cellular automata VDR model, surveys, and MATLAB program operations to support the simulation of coordinated operation of the buses and cars, taking into account the bus priority resource constraints. Details are as follows:1. By the methods of field survey and located observation obtained data and calibrated parameters, including probability of vehicle arriving, maximum speed, detector position, lane number, the maximum value of green light prolonged and red light broken.2. According to the VDR model theory, based on the speed-distance mode put forward the single-phase bus priority signal control simulation strategy and determine the priority level. Using the MATLAB programming, calculate the value of each index.3. With the priority level of multi-phase bus obeying the "principle of proximity", proposed the conditions of bus priority are both fuel consumption and exhaust emissions are larger than the nearest other phases’.4. Using MATLAB programming operations to compare three kinds of bus priority, non-transit priority, the distance-speed bus priority and resource constraints bus priority. Calculate the profit indexes of the intersection. Eventually, put forward better ensure for the operational benefits of the bus, and other social vehicles under resource constraints of bus priority.In addition, using the results validate the analysis of the theory, proposed signalized intersection bus priority signal control to optimize the design. |
