Reseach On City Residents Trip Behavior And Characteristics

With the acceleration of urbanization, the urban residents expand their trip areas; extend the trip time, and also the trip activities getting more and more diversified and complicated. At the same time, the trip brings pressure for our traffic and cause traffic jam, especially in the peak time of the working days. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate research and analyze the urban resident trip activities, and find the internal laws, take proper measures to guide resident trip, and improve the traffic environment. So theses focus on the resident trip and do the below research:1、Firstly, concluded the development process about domestic and foreign resident trip behavior theories, and current situation and exist problems.Secondly thesis concludes resident trip activities basic theories and analysis method.At last thesis introduces the trip behavior analysis method based on the activity and the trip behavior analysis method based on trip chain.2、Analyzing related the disaggregate model theory and the survival analysis theory, thesis introduces NL model in the disaggregate model and the proportional hazard model in the survival analysis theory. Secondly, thesis research the various factors of residents’ trip from personal attributes, attributes of family, trip attribute and service level four aspects.3、Thesis research residents trip activity types and residents trip mode. According to city residents daily life activity characteristics, the city residents travel activities are divided into the typical work travel mode, mixed travel mode and leisure travel mode three types. At the same time, according to survey data, we can analyse residents travel mode, the residents travel mode is mainly divided into pedestrian, bicycle, buses and private cars four travel ways. Based on the research of trip activities mode and trip mode selection, we establish Nested Logit model which is consist of resident trip activities selection model and trip selection model, and demarcate, test and analyze the parameter of the model.4、According to the proportional hazards model in survival analysis theory, the thesis establish the selection model for t he forenoon tri p ti me,analyzed the characteristi cs and la ws of forenoon tr ip, and choosereside nts’ sex, a ge, professi on, tri p di stanc e, tr ip purpos e, tri p mode a scontr ol variable, create cumulative su rvival function-duration fi gure bySPSS soft ware. It shows t h e status of r eside nt’s forenoon trip. And it als oconcluded the resident trip laws of di fferent hier archical variables.
