It is known that the reduction of the performance and carrying capacity ofreinforced concrete are caused by the corrosion of steel bars. Nowadays, a fewresearch on the shear resistance of oblique section of the corroded RC flexuralmembers has been carried out widely both at home and abroad, and especiallyfewer on stirrups corrosion with oblique tendon components in this field. Therefore, a study on the carrying capacity of the oblique section of the corrodedRC flexural members should be carried urgently. The degradation mechanism ofthe shear resistance of corroded components of stirrups according to thecomparison between six stirrups with oblique tendon reinforced concrete simplysupported beam and a comparative corroded reinforced concrete beams is studiedin this thesis. Main research work can be drawn as following:(1) The introduction of the influence of steel corrosion on the performance ofconcrete structures and the summary of the present research on the carryingcapacity of reinforced concrete structures at home and abroad are made.(2) The brief introduction of the experiments on the shear capacity of thestirrups corrosion of reinforced concrete beams with oblique tendon as well as theresults and data analysis are made.(3) The finite element analysis of the7seven test beams by using thesoftware ANSYS is used, and the investigation of the calculation methods of theultimate shear capacity of the reinforced concrete beams with diagonalreinforcements under the situations of opening and closing are made and thechange of carrying capacity of the reinforced concrete beams with diagonalreinforcements under different rate of stirrups corrosion and the calculation of theultimate shear capacity value under the different rate of stirrups corrosion is madeand the comparative study on the results of the experiments is also made. Theseanalysis and calculation are based on the methods of the different cross-sectionalarea of stirrups and the yield strength simulation stirrups corrosion.(4) The general situation of the theoretical study on the shear capacity ofreinforced concrete beams with oblique section is made and the advantages anddisadvantages of different theories are introduced. The study on the results of testand the formula to verify the feasibility according to the Truss-arch theory is madeto build the formula of the shear capacity of the shear capacity of reinforced concrete beams with oblique section. Then the damage and bond strength ofconcrete cross section caused by the stirrups corrosion and the influence oflongitudinal reinforcement pin bolt is taken into consideration. At last the relatedreduction factor related to the shear capacity of the stirrups corrosion rate by usingthe method of linear regression is fitted out in order to build the suggested formulaof the shear capacity of stirrups rust to make a comparative study with otherliteratures.
