| The motor was considered as the engine of modern industrial civilization. It’s widelyused in automotive, electrical, metallurgical, chemical and other fields. As the motor wasmade of traditional materials and process, its core loss increased sharply at high frequencyand then the temperature of core would grow. This resulted in that the motor couldn’t worknormally. Classical motor consumed much more electrical power and its efficiency was nothigh. Therefore, when transforming, a large amount of energy was lost to nothing due to thelow efficiency of traditional motor. Amorphous alloys had been widely used in transformers,with characteristics of high efficiency and energy saving. In view of this problem, in thispaper, amorphous alloy motor was proposed to be used instead of silicon steel to make newmotors. Through theoretical and simulation analysis of amorphous alloy motor, performanceanalysis was completed in this dissertation.The following two aspects were mainly divided in this thesis:Firstly, finite element modeling and analysis of amorphous alloy motor. In this paper,transient and eddy current field of amorphous alloy motor was finite-element modeled andsolved by using Ansoft. The magnetic field distribution, magnetic current, torque, loss andeddy current distribution of the motor when in no-load starting and rated operating wereanalyzed. It’s also compared with the traditional silicon steel motor, so that the superiority ofamorphous motor was verified theoretically.Secondly, analyzing the control strategy of amorphous alloy motor. Amorphous motorwas simulated by using Matlab in this dissertation. Response time, torque ripple, outputtorque in the high frequency and other factors of amorphous alloy motor were analyzed andcompared with the performance index of traditional motor. The conclusion was shown thatamorphous motor had fast response speed, and speed increasing smooth; especially at highfrequency, the amorphous motor could start with most large torque and after loading, itstorque reaches a steady state quickly, the new motor in the overall performance had improveda lot comparison of traditional motor.Two kinds of motor were analyzed using Ansoft and Matlab in this paper. It demonstratedthat the use of amorphous motor would be more efficient than traditional motor. The studywas of certain significance for the amorphous motor. |
