As the greenhouse effect of the highlight of the extreme weather frequent, the great effects of the global climate environment which brought by carbon emissions have caused widespread concern over the scholars. Construction, one of the pillar industries in China, has consumed nearly half of the total social energy consumption in the whole life cycle. It has a large potential to reduce carbon emissions. Large-scale public buildings water system carbon emissions quantification and emission reduction is worth to pay close attention.With a large collection of data and the domestic and foreign relevant material in the course of the research, work out the method of quantitative analysis in large-scale public buildings water system carbon emissions. The process of quantization as follows. Firstly, make certain the use, the type and the scope of boundary conditions of the building.Then, divided the activities which caused carbon emissions as the direct energy emissions, energy indirect carbon emissions and other indirect carbon emissions. Each category divided into more detailed category ruled according to the specific conditions. These mainly include activities such as the burning energy, the refrigerant leakage, the plants absorb carbon, the consumption of electric power and water in equipments. Collect the respectively corresponding reliable data after classifying the operating activities. The article selected suitable number as the carbon emission coefficient to quantitative calculation.The subject which took Jinan international exhibition hotel as demonstration project, processed the data of operation in recent3years, tracked survey for one-year and reorganized the data according to the proposed methods. Finally, obtained the quantity of carbon emissions of the water system in the last three years, they are 1574.975tons,1195.321tons,1414.722tons in turn. According to the2011carbon emissions quantitative results, obtains the change characteristics of system in carbon emissions, and the different operating activities of carbon emissions and emission characteristics.Diagnostic analysis primary carbon emissions equipment during the one-year’s practical test of Jinan international exhibition of hotel water system. Pumps of domestic cold water and domestic hot water adopted the frequency conversion supply way, although that can achieve the effect of energy saving and carbon emission reduction, it had potentially waste because of the low frequency operation state caused the efficiency are less than60%. The operation of the refrigerating unit is often in low load conditions, and the machine did not take energy saving measures. Circulating water pumps of cooling water system have failed to take energy saving measures. Only one of the frozen water system pumps was energy saving pump. Two of the six cooling towers’ placement position which are not very good influence the cooling efficiency of the towers. Based on the present situation of the equipment, the subject puts forward the key technology of carbon emissions. The refrigeration unit can reduce129.6tons carbon emissions per year if it install the frequency converter and operate with35Hz. The cooling water pumps and chilled water pumps can reduce39tons and108tons per year if it install the frequency converter and operate with35Hz. Cooling tower carbon emissions can fall for85.7%, if adjust cooling tower location to where they can operate as the optimal two. The forecast, the hotel water system carbon emission reduction can reach276.8tons per year, and put forward the other reduction measures.
