| With the accelerated development of the world economy integration and container ships for large-scale, most of the ports are faced with the new changes under the new situation. They are not only the links to connecting the trade and consumption both for global and regional, but also to transform into the operational base for planning actively and participating the economic activities. Since the need of the port for stimulating the supplying urgently and increasing the economic of the inland cities, the construction of the inland port becomes the concern of many parties. Therefore, it is necessary to analysis systematically for the theoretical system of the inland port and the location planning, forming an unified view and opinion, to provide some reference value in the actual inland port management and operation.The rise of the inland port allows the formation of a broad coverage of economic regions between inland areas and coastal ports, Trading can not be separated from the transportation between the origin of goods and the ports. In the frequently moving transport network, it’s significant for the transport efficiency and the supply-chain close degree between the upstream and downstream, if people can make the appropriate choice of transport modes, and each mode can share the reasonable rate respectively. However, in traditional theory, people always regard 500 km as a reasonable economic transport distance of the railway transport, it results that truck bear too much of the container traffic. Therefore, it is necessary to reposition the choice of transport mode, to give full play to each mode of transport, make distribution of traffic scientificly, avoid problems such as congestion, excessive load, and other issues such as device idle because of the excessive dependence on a single transport mode.The thesis takes the inland port as the research object, studies on the inland-port location through using fuzzy c-means clustering, and then the thesis takes Dalian port as an example, analysises the alternative hinterland cities in the northeast. For the selection of the transport modes, the thesis takes cost analysis of truck transport and rail transport, and then introduces the concept of goods value in transit time, in this way, the thesis establishes the relationship between transport distance, cargo traffic and the total cost, the formula has some reference value for cargo owners in the selection of transport modes. |
