In the process of an explosion of prefabricated break, with the high temperature and highpressure, the product of the detonation will access to certain velocity FPS at the same time.The velocity of the broken pieces and mutilate effectiveness of the warheads are twoimportant parameters. The difference of prefabricated piece shapes has significant impacts onthe two important parameters. Because the warheads exposure is a very complicated physicaland chemical change process, preceding the theoretical analysis method is very difficult. If weuse the test method, not only the design cycle is long, but also the cost is very high. At present,with the development of computer technology, the numerical simulation becomes animportant method of warheads design. In view of this, this paper focuses on the numericalsimulation and the analysis contrast, which respectively on the four typical types of shape ofthe velocity of prefabricated broken pieces and mutilate efficiency.First of all, I use the finite element analysis software ANSYS/LS-DYNA to analyze thecube, sphere, cylinder and circular sector to prefabricate the numerical simulation of thevelocity of broken pieces. Through the post-processing software, we can get distributingcondition and speed curve under the action of explosive detonation of different prefabricatedpieces. Then I analyze the contrast of the speed of the different shapes of prefabricated brokenpieces. And we can get the influence of the initial velocity prefabricated broken pieces shapes.Secondly, combined with the initial velocity of different shapes of prefabricated pieces,this paper will use the experience formula to calculate the speed decay of prefabricated breakin different shapes in the air, and use the speed as the target of penetration of the board initialvelocity. According to numerical simulation of damage effects of different shapes ofprefabricated pieces, the simulation results contrast analysis into damage effect of different patterns of prefabricated pieces and the stock of speed ability of different shapes ofprefabricated pieces.Finally, according to the velocity of broken pieces and the numerical simulation andanalysis of mutilate efficiency, this paper explains different shapes, the advantages anddisadvantages of the precast broken pieces, which has provided the certain basis of theproduction and prefabricated improvement in the future.
