At this stage, there are many collapsing accidents of high formwork support in the concrete pouring. To improve the safety and reliability, we must carry out theoretical analysis and test experiments. This research mainly including:1. Based on the basic requirements of scaffolding erection in China, an eight-meter-high formwork support system is built, simulate the process of pouring concrete by lifting loads of steel-slag and measure the axial force changes.2. Based on the test, establish the model by ANSYS, the results by FEA (Finite Element Analysis) are compared with experimental results.3. By changing the parameters of the finite element model including different path loads, different spans, some standing bar out of work, the formwork is nailed or not, to simulate formwork supports in different conditions and research the stress state.4. The test results and the theoretical analysis results are compared with the current specifications in China, in order to research the level of their security.Comparison and analysis were carried on, the following conclusions:1. The change of the axial force of standing bar is significant in the concrete pouring, the loads is not uniformly distributed in each standing bars.2. Under the above-mentioned four conditions, the condition of some standing bar out of work has the greatest impact, the "S" type loading impact greater than the spiral type loading as the condition of the formwork is nailed compares with it isn’t nailed, and the stress state varies under different spans.3. The standard values of axial force given by the current specification is small compared with the maximum axial force by test and FEA, percentage error is between15%and65%.This research can provide the basis for modifying the specification.
