This thesis, to the project based on the adaptive positioning of clamping technology of thin air space complex surface parts as the background, based on the detailed analysis of the processing technology of thin-walled space surface parts, it proposed a new technology and new methods - adaptive positioning flexible clamping technology, which is applied to grip and locate the surface thin-walled parts. In the paper, it also researched and proposed several theoretical methods which are used for controlling the clamping deformation of the thin-walled surface parts based on the deformation study and analysis of a given part. Completed the following major elements:First, it researched the development of the flexible tooling in the related filed, explained the purpose and significance of the subject, and clearly illustrated the main content of this research and major research programs and some related technical requirements.Second, it proposed the clamping method—adaptive positioning clamp sucker, completed digital structural design, and modular structural design of the flexible tooling with CATIA. Respectively did the static and dynamic simulation for the holding institutions, analyzed the force deformation of the clamping mechanism, and checked the interference situation of the adaptive kinematic. The thesis analyzed the given space surface thin-walled parts with ANSYS, and checked the clamping deformation indicators of the flexible tooling. Through the ANSYS analysis of different examples, the thesis gave several theory methods which can control the clamping deformation of thin-walled surface parts.Finally, the thesis summarized the whole content and some useful conclusions are obtained, and put forward the direction of the research work. In comparison, thesis put forward some improvement measures for the flexible clamping fixture structure; it has certain simulative effect to the manufacturing technology of the air space thin-walled complicated surface parts.
