With the development and expansion of the transportation industry in our country, the bridges have played an increasingly important role. Reinforced concrete bridges accounts for a large proportion in the built or being built bridges in our country. However, the bridge collapse caused by the fatigue problems have occurred and caused enormous loss to the society. These painful lessons make the bridge fatigue problems research more and more important. The fatigue monitoring, damage assessment, remaining life prediction, and the reinforcement of bridges have become the focus of attention in the domestic and international engineering community.Over the years, in the research of antifatigue properties of materials, structural fatigue cumulative damage law and the remaining fatigue life prediction, the domestic and foreign scholars have made a lot of scientific achievements besides academic and engineering applications. In this paper, the fatigue problems of reinforced concrete bridges are discussed, using the classical engineering theoryThis paper systematically describes the theories and methods in the bridge fatigue analysis, at the same time gives some important directions to study this issue. On the basis of previous research, the traffic load of vehicles on the roads and bridges is simulated by MAT ALB. The random car load is achieved by the influence line load. This paper makes the fatigue damage analysis and residual life assessment of a reinforced concrete beam, based on the reinforced S-N curve and the principle of linear fatigue damage accumulation. A concrete rigid frame bridge is made a finite element analysis by the finite software ANSYS. The bridge is loaded by multiple conditions of "fatigue car loading". This paper makes a fatigue analysis by the nominal stress methods, and gives some instructive results.
