As the railway construction accelerate the steps in the new century, wthere are more requestment for the railway bridge construction, and the cable-stayed bridge is a suitable choice for crossing the river in the future. Based on the railway bridge construction projects, combined with the design features of railway cable-stayed bridge superstructure of the bridge, use the "Midas/civil"software for the force analysis. Some main work and achievements are as follows:(1)The theoretical part of this thesis covers the development of railway cable-stayed bridge, construction characteristics and mechanical properties. And in the second part, static analysis was made to the bridge superstructure by using Midas. During the process of construction stage, the influence of various load for cable force and the cable force of the cables anchored at the end of side span are analysed. During the process of finished stege, it analysis static response of the girder and the stayed cable on the each single load and load combination are also analysed.(2)This actual example bridge is a large railway bridge, which has these characteristics:the cable-stayed bridge is rather flexible, while the bridge has to support heavy live load;It is required the track more safe smooth. So the railway cable-stayed bridge structure needs to help improve the overall stiffness. it is require that the pylon may be enough high, with greater cross section and the girder have larger stiffness. If the condition permitts, it’s better to set auxiliary Piers to constrained the vertical displacement of the girder. Because the alternating stress range of the cables at the end of side span is bigger,so the cable anchored at the end of side span are easy to suffer fatigue damage, and need more maintenance at the construction stage and the service stage.
