Product Development Of Rail Freight In The Overall Road Network Conditions

With our country economi’s constant development, the whole society has growing demand and increasing requirement. As the bulk freight transportation and medium or long distance transportation’s main carrier, the rail transportation system, certainly, will shoulder the task to meet national economi’s mandate about transportation system. But, because the railway system has used mixed passenger and freight operation mode in a long time, the railway capacity resource has been given great restriction, which has would lead to railway freight product is too simple to meet the requirement of cargo owner and kinds of society function departments. So, in the overall railway network situation, the research on freight product will not only meet the requirement of cargo owner, but also optimizate railway capacity resource layout, which is an important way to improve railway competitiveness.At first, this paper found the advantage and disadvantage of freight product through analyzing and juxtaposing the railway freight transportation present situation among China, Japan, France, Germany and America. And then, this paper also found the problems of existing freight product and explore the new freight product design’s thinking and method through expounding and analyzing the concepts, characteristics, properties, cargo owner selection factors and freight product exploitation environment of kinds of freight product in our country.Hereafter, this paper found the developing tactics and trend of freight product which should clear the approximate direction and goals by the analysis of freight products’ diffrences,category,4-dimension and combination tactics, which linked their exploitation principles, content and process.At last, this paper advanced freight product design and exploitation method based on category, organization forms, hierarchical strategy, timeliness and service innovation, analysis come to openthe line multi-category direct cargo trains, inter-bureau of coal direct trains pendulumbulk cargo directtrain, ladder connecting trains, passenger and freight mixed trains, ring of six classes are scheduled, fixed-line, fixed grouping Express direc train small groups of container sea and railway transport trains, cargo express "evening-morning", notregular line of Express direct train Dedicated Passenger Lines high-speed "the same day, next day, the next day up" the original product upgrade series and new product.
