As the continuous progress of the world, people have realized that the value of earth resources. If you want to survive that you have to put sustainable development on the agenda, so the sustainable development have became the consensus of world each country. Building energy consumption accounted for a larger proportion of China’s total energy consumption. In order to meet the large population’s living, we make the residential buildings for main goal. But this is unreasonable for our country, and it deviate from the strategy of sustainable development.There are many old residential buildings which have different ages, structures and usage conditions, actually some of them can continue to live. We reform some old residential buildings for the sustainable development, it can do our living economically. But how to reform and which part is the key point, these all need a sustainable utilization evaluation method for old residential buildings in China. This paper creates a whole index system of sustainable utilization evaluation for old residential buildings on the base of the foregone studies. And we make the results as important technological basis for reconstruction. Main Content Includes:1. We established a study framework by the domestic and foreign correlation research, based on the analysis and study for task in detail we want to create a whole index system of sustainable utilization evaluation for old residential buildings to solve the problem.2. We established a hierarchical structure of index system of sustainable utilization evaluation for old residential buildings based on the principle of establishment evaluation index system. And we determine specific content. The index system of sustainable utilization evaluation for old residential buildings has evaluation index of three levels, they’re target level, criterion level, index level. The index system has7first-class indexs,26second-class indexs, and68third-class indexs.3. We use the Analytic Hierarchy Process to calculate the weight of levels. We establish a AHP model, a level structure and a judgment matrix. After calculating data to order in single level and whole system and consistency inspection, we got the weight coefficients of every level. We set the standard of sustainable utilization evaluation for old residential buildings based on the principles.4. We made a comprehensive evaluation for sustainable utilization evaluation system for old residential buildings by the weight grade method and Fuzzy Synthetic Evaluation.5. We make a comprehensive evaluation for one reconstruction project of old residential buildings by our sustainable utilization evaluation system for old residential buildings. And we use the weight grade method and Fuzzy Synthetic Evaluation separately for evaluating this project. The two results are similar to each other, this further verify the correctness of evaluation result. Finally we make a brief analysis for the evaluation result, and give some advices.The research have finished the mission of project, that we further verify the scientificity and practicability of evaluation method after making theoretical fundamental. We also have some weaknesses to be perfected in further research.
