The stress concentration factor is a important parameter that used to describe the hot spot stress range and then analysis the fatigue property of the joint.At present in our country, most of the research have focused on stress concentration factor for simple tubular joints, and is very little for large size complicated shape square steel tubular joints stress concentration factor.In this paper, using ANSYS finite element method to study on the stress concentration factor of a large size and complex type square steel tubular joints (KKK type node) for a more systematic study, its main contents are as follows:(1) After referenced many foreign literatures..introduced the selection rule of KKK type node geometric parameter, as well as an optional unit in the modeling process model, the grid division rules, load and loading method.(2) Analysed the model with single refs analysis method,and research the effects of Pβ、γ、τ、θ to the stress concentration factor of the web member and chord member on the KKK-joint under three load forms.ALL this could be a basis for the design of such like joints.(3) According to the data from analysis/used Origin Software to fit the stress concentration factor for belly bar and chord of KKK type node, and error analysis of the fitting formula.(4) According to the nodes of the same form used in the practical engineering, analysis of its belly bar and chord stress concentration factor, and further to verify the formula in this article.In this paper,the effect of the geometric parameters to the stress concentration factor of KKK-joints has been got, and the calculation formula of the stress concentration factor of KKK-joints has also been got. All of this have some worth to the design of such style joints.
