With the wide application of plastic products in various fields, more and more wasted plastics are produced. Large amounts of wasted plastics have caused serious pollution to the environment, and even endanger human health and safety. Therefore, how to dispose of the wasted plastics is a severe problem placed in front of people. There are many methods and technologies of recycling wasted plastics, these methods and technologies could realize the aim of reusing wasted plastics to a certain extent. But there are some other problems exist, such as inefficiencies, poor performance of regeneration products and may cause secondary pollution, so it affected the promotion and application of these methods and techniques. Plastic has a certain degree of flexibility, high strength and abrasion resistance, if the wasted plastics are added in the concrete, it may reuse the wasted plastics efficiently and improve some performances of concrete materials. Therefore, studying on recycled plastic concrete materials has broad prospects and importance. The recycling of treated wasted ABS/PC plastic was processed into granules, these particles were used to incorporate into normal concrete to produce the recycled plastic concrete (RPC) in form of volume substitution. Experimental studies on static basic mechanism performances and dynamic properties of RPC were conducted. The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Based on C35normal concrete, cubic and cylinder specimens of five plastic contents were made. Plastic particles were used to replace fine aggregate in form of volume substitution, the replacement ratios were0%,5%,10%,15%and20%.(2) The MATEST24048universal material testing machine was used to test the compressive strength of RPC cubic specimens and stress-strain curves of big cylinder specimens. Influences of plastic contents on density, static compressive strength and stress-strain curve of RPC were summed up by analyzing testing results, and discussed the constitutive relationship of RPC.(3) Split-Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB) was used to conduct the impact compressive experiment on the small cylinders in various strain rates, the relationship curves of time between stress, strain and strain rate of RPC with different plastic content and in different impact velocity were obtained. The affections of plastic contents and strain rates on the ultimate strength, limited strain, dynamic constitutive model and energy absorption of RPC subjected to impact load were discussed.
