Microwave absorbing material is the focus of research in the field of military, information and environmental sciences.At home and abroad all scientists are very concerned about research on conducting polymers and their composite stealth materials. Conductive polyaniline as a typical resistance-type absorbing materials become the most talked about one of the conductive polymer due to excellent environmental stability, good electrical conductivity as well as easily getting,processing possibility, and the nature of adjustable.In this paper, a series of hydrochloric acid doped polyaniline and PANI-HCl/Ag composite film were prepared by chemical oxidation. The influence of the oxidant and the composite ratio on their structure and performance was studied, and the DC voltage is applied to try to achieve reflectance absorption adjustable at different frequencies, to achieve broadband absorption, the main contents are as follows:1. The conductive, dielectric, thermal stability, microstructure, and morphology of hydrochloric acid doped polyaniline powder have been studied by four-probe electrical conductivity measurement, dielectric loss measurement,TG, XRD, FT-IR and SEM.The influence of the oxidant on structure and performance was analysed and discussed. And the optical photos, XRD, SEM test results of hydrochloric acid-doped polyaniline/silver film show that the film is thick yellow-green filamentous; a bright spot silver uniform distribution, and crystallinity enhanced.2. We measured the electromagnetic parameters of doped polyaniline and hydrochloric acid doped polyaniline/silver composite and calculation the theoretical reflection loss, while use the bow method to test microwave reflectivity of composite films in18cm x18cm, to evaluated the microwave absorption properties:â‘ The influence of the tablet thickness on the theoretical calculation of the reflection loss value was discussed:with the increase of the thickness of the tablet, the theory absorption peaks move to lower frequency;â‘¡The different composite ratio affected microwave reflectance of hydrochloric acid-doped polyaniline/Ag composite films:PANI increase in the proportion of the absorption effect is weakened; when PANI proportion of20%, the absorption effect is the best.3.Using the principle of micro-battery, through access to DC power supply hydrochloric acid doped PANI/Ag composite films IV test and absorbing performance testing. By applying different voltages, we can adjust the electromagnetic parameters, so that the electromagnetic wavelength and absorbing performance change.The research of this subject provided the valuable data and conclusions for further research experiments, applications and mechanism of adjusting the electromagnetic parameters of the conductive polymer composite system by appling voltage to control the material of the microwave reflectivity.
