So, we should pay attention to the influence such as grid stability and power quality when large scale wind merges into the grid.This paper first analyzes the status and trends of wind power, combine with wind energy data of a place in Qinghai to calculate and analysis, provides a theoretical basis for the maximum power point tracking of wind energy. Comparative analysis two types of operations by wind turbine in wind power, selection of variable speed constant frequency operation mode as the focus of this paper. Analysis the impacts of wind power on the grid.In the wind power system, converter is very important, so research the control methods of converter, make wind power system provide more high quality, reliable and stable electric power is crucial to improve and enhance wind power performance. Based on the different types of converter, research the control tactics of converter based on one-cycle control. Analysis the principle of one-cycle control works, and it’s advantage. Focus on one-cycle control Boost circuit, the rectifier circuit and inverter circuit, and modeling and simulation verification, effective to reduce harmonics and improve power factor and other advantages.The control working principle of maximum power point tracking method (MPPT) is obtained through the analysis of wind turbine. Due to some drawbacks,for example, slow response and low power factor, existed in the traditional maximum power point tracking methods. In this paper, many efforts have been made to analyze how the wind turbine works and compare the maximum power point tracking method, especially in the research on maximum power point tracking algorithm on the basis of One-Cycle Control. Calculated the parameters of wind turbines, obtain the optimal speed under different wind speed, make the speed of the wind machine follows the optimal tracking speed through One-Cycle Control, realize the maximum power point tracking control. This control strategy has advantages such as simple control structure, fast response and system stable operation, etc. Moreover, feasibility and advantage of this control based on One-Cycle Control has been simulated and evaluated. |
