With the rapid development of railway transportation, passengers travel demand is increasing, as well as the requirements of the quality of services offered by passenger transportation departments. Articles and other hardware facilities, as present important aspects of passenger train service, can be standard to measure travel comfort. Therefore, it may improve the service quality, to establish a perfect railway passenger articles management system, in order to meet the transportation market competition from highway, aviation, and other modes.According to the situation of articles management, the thesis has reengineered the business flow, redesigned business processes related, and maximized the management accuracy of goods issue, allocation and recycling. At last, production labour intensity has been reduced, with less inventory cost and higher management efficiency. In the central component of the thesis is to build procurement models for recycling articles and consumables, including acquisition planning algorithm. Recycling articles procurement model has been developed, which can provide solution according to the demand and daily turnover. Models of consumables differ according to demand. For slack season, multi-articles purchase model is suitable as demand leveled off. On contrast, dynamic batch model can be used for peak season due to high demand. Finally, passenger train articles management system has been designed and realized based on C#. Both acquisition planning and inventory daily management are contained in the articles management system, which may support production headcount planning and the activities of productivity improvement, showing the very good pragmatism.
