Brushless DC Motor (BLDCM) is a new kind of DC Motor which is developed as the rapid development of electronic technology,and it plays an important role in modern industrial equipment as a moving part.The most important feature of BLDCM is that there is no mechanical commutation and wire brush with it,so it has the advan-tages of reliable operation,long life and no spark.The research of BLDCM control system has always been the focus among the domestic and foreign scholar, especially the appearance of Digital Signal Processor(DSP) which promotes the control technology of BLDCM to be integrated and intelligent greatly.This paper starts from the structure of the BLDCM,explains the working princip-le,and establishes a simple mathematical model with the motor phase variable directly,and then discuss the operating characteristics based on it.Secondly,it studies a num-ber of key technologies around the sensorless BLDCM control system,including rotor position detection,motor start technology and the suppression of torque pulsation.Co-ntrary to the traditional "3-stage startup method",this paper put forward "continuous secondary positioning" method.Then this paper accomplishes the structures of the hardware platform and the de-sign of the software architecture.The control system uses TI’s chips named TMS320-LF2407A as a controller,and gives an introduction of it’s peripheral circuits,including power conversion circuits,JTAG interface circuits and clock circuits.At the same time, this paper design it’s own inverter circuit and detection circuit.The software part uses the idea of modular,and this paper composes the overall project’s programming with assembly language based on the integrated development environment CCS2000.At last,this paper debugs the whole control system using a BLDCM named602W-50as experimental subject.Then the paper shows some test waveforms to prove thatthe plan is feasible.At the same time,the paper summarizes the research work and theprospect of further research work.
