With the retain number of automobile dramatic increasing, the energy crisis andenvironmental problem are getting worse, as a result, the new energy automobile becomes oneof the hot spots of the car companies and research institutions. At present, there are a lot ofstudies on pure electric vehicle and common hybrid electric vehicle, while the studies onPlug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) are not intensive. Because this type of vehicle has theadvantages of both pure electric vehicle and common hybrid electric vehicle, it has moreoutstanding superiority in energy conservation and exhaust decreasing.For single-axle parallel PHEV, this paper carries out the following research:Firstly, taking the bus XQ6103 as an example, the thesis summarizes the type selectionand parameters matching method of the main components of power-train including engine,motor, battery, and gearbox, which is based on the requirement of power performance, fueleconomy and driving cycle, and the trait of PHEV’s operating mode.In the next part, according to the operating mode and riding characteristics, a fuzzycontrol module is designed in MATLAB, and embedded into the software ADVISOR 2002.Inthis way, the software has been corresponding secondary development, thereby its appliedrange has been extended.Finally, the author uses the developed ADVISOR 2002 to simulate the hot-rod XQ6103,and get a series of performance perameters, graphs and tables, such as top speed, maximumgradability, acceleration time, 100 km Fuel Consumption, SOC of the battery, the operatingpoint distribution chart and efficiency chart of the engine, the operating point distributionchart and efficiency chart of the motor, the charging chart and discharging chart of the battery.The test results generally meet the requirements of the design of PHEV, this achieves the desired purpose. It shows that the power-train matching method and control strategy arefeasible.
