Through designing and researching the solar car project, analyzing the current vehicle design results of solar car in developed countries, we can design new solutions in the body appearance, body materials, solar panels, power systems, drive systems, vehicle control systems, and accelerate the development of solar cars. According to aerodynamic body will be optimized and designed, the structure and weight of frame will be optimized, use the active suspension system, design lightweight wheels and tires, in addition, choose the most advanced solar panels and electric motors and other drive systems, design rational battery module, and use carbon fiber and other body materials. In the design process, use finite element analysis methods, simulate various parts of the car by computer under different conditions of performance, and design the best solution. Hope these solutions in the general design of solar cars have more help, as the future prospects of solar car design and reference.Burning gasoline in cars is an important urban source of pollution, vehicle emissions, including sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides will cause air pollution and affect our health. Solar car doesn’t burn fossil fuels and it uses solar cells to convert light into electrical energy, electrical energy is stored in the battery to drive the motor vehicle, so it will not emit harmful substances. It is estimated that if the solar cars replace burning car, each car’s carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by 43 to 54%, will be able to effectively reduce the global environmental pollution, and create a clean living environment.
