Inductive Coupled Power Transfer (ICPT) is a novel power transfer technology, it’sone of the most hottest research directions of power electronics in lately30years. Itbased on principle of electromagnetic induction, integrated using modern powerelectronics, magnetic coupling techniques and control theory, so that the electricalequipments can get power from power grid by the contactless way. The technology isflexible, safe, easy to maintain, highly reliable and environmentally friendly.This topic take the LCL-type resonate converter to be the research object.Compared to common single LC resonate system, LCL-type ICPT system has muchbigger resonate capacity, and it’s switching devices will sustain smaller voltage stressand current stress at the same power stage. Because of it’s an high order system, it’smuch harder to design parameters and control LCL-type ICPT system.This paper mainly did these items of work around LCL-type ICPT system:①Researched the basic principle of LCL-type ICPT system, inferred a simplifiedresonate frequency formula witch has practical significance in engineering practice.After further analysis of it’s characteristics, a practical method of parameter design wasproposed.②Soft-switching design foundation of this system was provided by frequencyresponse analysis of LCL resonate converter.Through several parameters’ simulation and experiment the effectiveness ofresonate frequency formula and correctness of soft-switching design were verified, atthe same time, an auxiliary condition of parameters’ design was derived. For high-powersystem designing, in the assurance of proportion of L_r/L_p, we should be appropriate toreduce their values, so that the ratio needed of I_p/I_r obtained.③The constant current or constant voltage characteristic is analyzed when LCLresonant converter applied to the primary side or secondary, and verified throughsimulation and experiment.
